Frequently Asked Questions

When is the best time to put shoes on baby’s feet?

Once babies are able to stand and support their own weight, we recommend putting them in a balancing form fitted shoe / learning to walk shoe.

How much will my child grow?

From 9 months to 2.5 years, parents should expect a full shoe size every three months.

From 2.5 to puberty, parents should expect their children to grow a half a show size every six months.  We recommend children be measured 10 days after their birthday and 10 days after their half birthday.

To save money can I just buy shoes half a size bigger for my son or daughter?

We do not recommend buying shoes bigger than the correct size. For example, a half a size bigger for a child because of their much smaller feet, would feel similar to an adult wearing a size to a size and a half bigger.

Why is charting my child’s growth important?

Charting enables us to help maximize your child’s foot comfort and helps your budget by ensuring your child has completed their growth spurt before buying new shoes. We assure that your child is correctly fitted into their footwear.
